1. What kind of installation am I looking at?

2. Do they mar the bed all up like those crummy plastic duraliners do after a while?

Good for you, you'll love it. I just installed mine tuesday and it's really nice. Follow the instructions and it's a snap. Did you talk to Rick? Nice guy and ships fast, I had mine in three days.

The installation is a cake walk......just lay it in your bed then put a few velcroe (sp?) strips on the backside of the bedrug where ever you want, to hold it in place.

As for marring up the bed........never happen my man. The back side of the rug is a soft foam pad, it is really a great piece. One of the best mods I have done.
