Ok, so i'm so confused now when the new design is coming out...what i think now is summer of 03 as 04 model...is that right? Anyone have any idea...some say expy look, some say HD look...i think there was a link a while back, but all the pic links are broken right now...any help...please!?

 

There have yet to be any 2003 L pictures released. We do know that SVT has an appearance package for the 10th anniversary of the Lightning; and that every thing will remain the same. I would think the 2k3 L will be on the current body style.

As for the new body style for the F150 in general, from what I have seen in the magazines, it looks like the new Dodges, and not to my taste.

Only time will tell, and we must be patient.

There WILL be a 2003 Lightning!I work for a Dlr and my GM went to Factory sposored "ride @ Drive" and got to drive one.Also drove the '03 cobra,SVT focus.No body style changes 'till '04.New wheels for the '03,and probably some anniversary badging.Same powertrain.

BTW he got to run the Cobra against an '02 Vette[not Zo6] on the race track and said the Cobra Spanked the Vette and was much easier to drive fast!

Ran the "L" on the dragstrip,High 13's bone stock

Ran the SVT Focus on the Road coarse againt the Acura RSX and civic SE? and the Focus ate 'em up!Also said there were several of each car uot there and ALL the Focus' were still running at the end of the day.All of the others were either overheating or had mechanical issues.

Scarpello and Colletti told my salesman that IF dodge puts that ugly POS on the road we will benefit. Quote" we will not be beat in the hp game. The 5.4 is capable of 600 horsies." Possible bump for 03 might be a late change because dodge girls have no release date on srt. Just what was said.....

 

WHY ........... would they (svt) put new wheels on for one year ? unless maybe these new wheels are going on the NEW "L" for 04 - 05.

My boss said the new wheels are a lot like the '99-'00 wheels.And also confirmed True Blue IS only for 1 yr.New color is a kind of Platinum.Maybe like the Harley??
