Anybody Ever Have These Problems?
I found these problems today while washing my truck. It appears the rubber seal around the rear window is coming out. Also, one side of the front bumper appears to be hanging lower than the other. If so, is this an easy warranty fix?

Back window reveal molding
I work for a glass company that replaces the fiberglass trim ring around the back glasses of the f-150's all the time. (they call the glass company because the glass has to come out) The foam that borders the fiberglass tirm ring is only held in place with double sided tape the new one that will be replaced by warranty will have a ruber lip that wraps around the trim ring.
It is a pain in the butt to replace the trim ring (on my part) but it is definitely worth it. I am even turining mine on warranty the new one looks much better.
I noticed my bumper is lower on one side and the bed is closer to the cab on one side but they (the dealer) said that that was not covered so I am alligning mine on my own.

I don't have that problem but what I'm seeing is little white specs IN the paint. At first I thought it was old wax but they are little pits all about pin head sized. Would think they were chips but I only drive 10 miles one way at 4:00a so there are no other vehicles on the road, plus they're on the tailgate. I don't drive around backwards. I head home @ 2:30 so no heavy traffic then. If it's hosed paint then I'm afraid to take it back to the gomers at the dealer I bought it from. Their SVT"Certified" mech never heard of any clunk or i/c leaks.

Had that problem with my rear window on my '99. Mine actually was leaking, so I took it to the dealer.
Not only did they replace the seal, they replaced the whole rear window under warantee.
If i'm not mistaken that rear glass is held in with studs and nuts.
It only took the Ford tech 45 min to pull the old and put in the new.

Back window
The back window is held in with 8- 9mm nuts and the fiberglass frame is held in with clips and 6- 9mm nuts. The ruber gasket comes attached to the trim ring so the entire trim ring will have to be replaced and the glass will have to be removed but if the glass company that the dealer uses stands behind there work (which they should) then there should be no problems.
The only possible problem (worse case scenario) is that the back window would leak and that would be noticed as soon as you hose it down when you get it back from them..
Hope this helps

My rear window rubber seal looks the same as well. Probably a good idea to get it replaced during warranty. Don't have the bumper problem but a friend of mine did. The dealer straightened that out for him under warranty. Apparently it's just a matter of loosening a few bolts, align and re-tighten. Two other things I've just noticed.... Condensation in one of the bed lamps at the top of the cab and some of the stitching on the tonneau cover is comming undone. Anyone else have these?
