Give Us a Clue!

How did you shave off so much weight? I've taken off the spare, hitch and jack so I've saved maybe 110 lbs. Replacing the bumper with a roll pan is probably 50 lbs(?), the Cervini hood probably weighs more than the stock aluminum hood. What else is there besides gutting the interior?

removed; Frt.sway bar
stock fan
wind sheild washer tank(heavy when full)
jack
dumbo size mirrors(street scene ele. nice mod)
Hitch
bumper(roll pan now)
Steel drive shaft
Spare
Fan scroud
The biggest gain came from my Bogart wheels, you can pick them up with your little finger, instead of the two men and boy on the stock wheels and tires.
I know theres more I'll have to check my store room to see what parts are there.
Wipers(rainX)
Chip Foose Lowering kit ? don't know if lighter or not.
Bassani complete ( lighter than cast iron)
If I can think of anythng else I'll E-mail ED.

Talking The scales are run by the Mafia...

This reminds me of the butcher who ran a country store.

A woman walked in and asked for a whole chicken.
The butcher pulls a bird out of the meat chest and puts it on the scale.
It's five pounds.
The lady thinks about it and says, "I need a larger bird."
The butcher looks in the chest and that was the only chicken he had in the store so, he puts the same bird back on the scale
(along with one of his fingers) now it reads nine pounds.

The lady says that will be fine.
As she's leaving she stops and says,

"You know, I have a lot of guests coming. You better sell me both of them."

Clearcoat

Brought truck home, before drove(you can do it later takes more time to clean and get rust off none painted parts) wiped everything down with preKleeno sprayed thermo plastic adhesion(Duramix#4540) on all plastic,R&M Diamont clear on everything take your time ,start at front or back and put enough coats on till each part your painting looks good then get away.Oh ya don't forget to mask off the entire truck over spray is a bitch. I would'nt attempt this with out a hoist. Real easy to clean.Hope this helped
