ANy clue on What this is????

Ok i was driving home last night and i think it is the first time i have driven in the dark with my new hood on. In the raised area i can see into the engine bay. From a 5-10mph roll if i mash the throttle inside my engine light flickers. Any ideas what it is??

It does look pretty cool while Im driving but i don't know what it is.

Your engine light coming on.

just the switch inside getting moved around and the hood moving around a little causes it. It freaked me out at first too, but its gone now

There are 2 TSB's on the hoodlamp switch, not sure if this is it or not: Give these #'s to your dealer.

Spike posted a video of his engine bay while back when he was on the track and the light was flickering to. I guess its normal, probably nothing to worry about.

The lamp has mercury inside it, when the mercury is in a certain position it will trigger the lamp. So when you stand on the throttle the fluid moves around vigorously and flickers the lamp

Hmmmm,

Makes me think about adding a couple of those cool Smirnoff Ice bar displays that shoot off Lightning bolts in the glass dome to the underside of the Cervini's....

I wasn't too worried but i just wanted to know. It looks really cool, while your standing on the gas the engine bay flickers. I might put a different color bulb under there that would be cool

Thumbs up

I have wondered this same thing about my refridgerator.

When I get all the beer drunk, I'm gonna climb in there and find out.
