went to the track for the second time in my life last night, and i got into the 13s. my track sits at over 2000' elevation and all i have is the mods in my sig.

my best run was:

R/T 1.032
60' 2.274
1/8 9.075 @ 80.82 mph
1/4 13.962 @ 100.04

im not sure what to do to make my 60' times better. it seemed like i was launching great.

the best part about all of this, is that a friend of mine who has a red 00 lightning, put almost $2000 into mods for his truck in the last two weeks and his best run was a 14.39 @ 98.7 mph. he was tell ing me all week how he was going to spank my truck, well, he didnt goes to show that silver is still the fastest color!

there were 5 lightnings out last night, and i was .2 sec or more faster all night....D@MN I LOVE THIS TRUCK!!

 

does anyone know the website where you can get NHRA adjusted times for 1/4 miles?

 

Work on that 60ft time. Get that down to a 2.0 and you should see a very low 13. Work on that launch.

thanx JR-- you gotta see the new pix withe the 01-02 lights and ss grilles. it looks like a new truck!! plus, last night i had to represent for the silvers. i had the only silver L there. there were 2 reds and 2 01 whites. i beat all of them!! the next closest was an 01 white running 14.15 all night.
