anyone use this cat back ?

It says its a mac cat back ? anyone know how they sound and do they give the claimed HP ? From what I have read I doubt it

23 HP I don't think so...They just came out so I don't think any L owners have it installed yet on their L's. I know the Mac flo-path's sound pretty good on Mustangs...

I had a Mac exhaust on my 98 Cobra and quality was good. It sounded great too. Not sure about the Lightning, but I'm sure it's ok. Seems like Bassani makes one of the best quality and we know the sound is good. It's rather pricey though.

Well...

289 dollars with new shiney tips ain't a bad deal...esp if they sounds as good as they do on mustangs

I used the MAC flowpaths on an older Fox-body, along with an off-road X-pipe. Sounded like ***. With cats it sounds good... but without it sounds worse than glasspacks.

you are right about the xpipe and mac's but with an offroad H they sounds goooooooood

the flowpath has a built in x design , and it sounds better than any flowmaster I have heard. I will be doing one at the end of the month and then I will set it up on some Long tubes also
