Well 448 Miles Later I am in

Jackson MS....Man I tell you what....I AM BORED!!!

Anyway, I left my chip in for the drive over and got 18.1 MPG...How does that stack up with everyone else's MPG? I had about 4 WOT passes on the way across, so I was in the boost some, but managed to keep my foot out of it for the most part..

If anyone here is from Jackson or near there...What in the hell is there to do around here??????

Yeah, no SHEIT! Best I've ever gotten is 15.6mpg, and that was using the cruise all the time.

Sounds good to me. I just got back from Atlanta and I filled up about half a tank, one time. Put 13.8 gallons in it and had gone 239 miles. That equates to 17.3 miles/gallon. J49 side of flip-chip, running 80-85mph and using cruise.

My last run to the beach I got just over 17mpg. That was running 70-75 most of the time and 2500ft of elevation change going over the coast mountain range.

sounds about right...

I got 16.73 m/g on my last tank (my personal best) which included 100 city miles and the rest were on a highway road trip. I was impressed... normally, day to day driving I'm lucky to get 10

milage

with my chip i get about 17-19 on the highway at best and about 11-12 city driving. Don't forget about the rearend difference between the 99-00's and the 01-02's. 3.53's to 3.73's will make a difference in fuel economy. I got the same gas milage in my explorer sport, which was a v6 as i do my lightning. The exploder had 4.10's which came stock.

qball, see you made it

to Jackson. Great mileage BTW, I've gotten 17.1 with cruise at 75 on stock 2kl. As stated in previous post need to go to Ross Barnett Resevoir which is very close. good daytime fun& nighttime fun. There are usually 2-3 nightclubs, depending on your age and music preferences. Check out "where to" guides in hotel lobbies, yellow pages, etc. Have you noticed all the good lookin' women yet?
