I want one of these

I thought all the speed freaks in the lightning forum would appreciate this....

I know it's probably old news and it's definetely off topic, but Holly Molly that would be a fun car to have.

Thumbs up

If that's the same Viper I'm thinking of, "HouseofSpeed" over at www.haloclub.com had a lot to do with the production of that car. I'm sure he can fill you in on it (or at least moreso than the mag).

You provide the stock Viper to Mr. H and hope, pray, and possibly sue to get it back at some point in your lifetime

Nice car, but no thanks

Part out

Any speed shop can build that. It's about $60,000. Go ahead and and buy a $65,000 Viper and send it to Hennessy, It wiil be the last time you ever see your car in one peice. 6 law suits and 2 years later you might get a rolling chassis back. Oh wait , do you need wheels and tires to have a rolling chassis. This guy is a big time crook. Just do a search on the viper board.

As mentioned before, it's a nice car if you wanna take a chance on actually getting a car back...

I think I'd rather have the Lingenfelter C5...it dethroned the Viper at 1.98 0-60, and 9.24 @ 150 in the 1/4. Street car?

Several months ago, on a lonely stretch of southeast Texas highway, I drove by a Viper that had the following vanity plates:

"990 ET"

That is a he!! of a badge to wear.

Alright guys picture this, The Dodge SRT-10 with the same setup, maybe a different tuner but an 850hp pickup does sound pretty good, no.

Yes, beware Hennesey. He is the anti-christ of tuners. He gives all that is American a bad name. He is a crook.

IMHO, of course.

May he become part of a reef off the Texas gulf coastline.

You guys are right about John H., but don't associate House of Speed with him. The brains in House of Speed is one of Hennessey's former Viper tuners, and one helluva Lightning tuner.
