If you will use the same procedure in checking your fuel mileage like many of the folk that post here, Why you'll be enjoying 18 to 20 mpg inconsistently too!

 

yep, the couple of gas stations I frequent give me the old "The usual?" look when I pull up... roughly translates to $32+ of premium... but its worth it when every time I am filling up somebody at another pump wanders over to admire the truck...

 

I'm more interested in smiles per gallon

 

My L gets about 10 to 11 MPG.

My 1995 F-150 4x4 gets 12 MPG.

And my 1999 Yamaha GP1200 can burn 12 gallons an hour and the tank only holds 11!

 

somewhere it siad your EFI was more efficient if you refilled at half a tank. I get 13-14 in town with AC, seldom getting on it.

 

I don't know why they put such a large gas tank on the L.
25 gallons of fuel is a lot of weight. I sometimes only fill it up part of the way to lighten the load for when I'm gettin' on it.

 

i hope that isnt coppied-righted or anything, because thats going to be a new favorite saying off mine!!
