Question Traction bars... whats best?

I have done the search, read the posts, visited all and sundry tuner sites, but which of these things actually works best without compromising handling?

I am leaning toward the truck-traks, just because of price plus they don't seem to have any negative handling effects, but do any of the others work any better?

2Cool,
I bought the truck-traks a few weeks ago..Excellent quality and easy installation... I am going to the track tomorrow. I know they will help with 60 ft. times for sure..They do not cause any handling problems, don't even really know they are on there.. If you plan to tow with them I believe they need adjusting or removal.. You don't want the snubber resting on the spring....
it's your choice, but I would go with the truck-traks.........JR

Same here, Trucktracs. They work great, install easy, and you won't even know they are there until you need them. What more could you want?

I use them and love them.

Tim,

Have you tried them at the track since you put them on? How close is your snubber to the spring?

Actually Chikenears cut them

I bought them used from him.He said he did it for the truck being lowered and having the bassini exhaust. It really did not make a difference.I had to drill 4 holes instead of three in the frame because one the holes in the frame matches up to the bracket at regular length.I have the JDM S.B. exhaust and a 2 inch drop.So it works just fine.

I have the JDM bars too, but mine are the origional length.

I think they work the best to keep the axle from twisting.

Richard,

1 and 1/4 inched from the spring. The first time I used them was with your slicks. Gained 2.1 tenths first time out. I'm pretty sure I can improve that with air pressure.
