From what I've read:
Spanky had a 99 L with some mods, bad plugs or bad tune on chip. Motor went bye-bye, and now people are wondering who's chip it was. Spanky resonded that he didn't know.
Now it's gone to some mystery who's who that Steve and Doug seem to be having too much fun with. I thought a thread like this would've been deleted long ago by now??? Speaking of banning people, I thought that someone else that has posted in this thread was banned already from here

Funny how only one person in this thread is denying that they are hiding their identity. Nowhere in this thread was any specific username singled out that I can see. I wonder what I, or anyone else reading this thread, should gleen from that.

(BTW, I am not accusing ANY vendor of being responsible for an engine that blew. I know nothing of what happened and it is none of my business. I am sorry to hear of your engine, spanky, regardless of the cause. My post was simply meant to demonstrate that a particular poster in this thread should not be trusted as someone that tells the truth. I believe there is enough evidence at hand that people here can make up their own mind on the issue I raised. Now back to feeding my crying Son...)

Is anyone else sickened by this? If you and JDM talked about it, that's fine. However, that is business sensitive information, and probably told to you in trust. I would have liked to have heard such news straight from the horses mouth, either JDM or JJ, not some bystander who finds out, then jumps in and tells the whole world before JDM and JJ are prepared to make statements. Now, because of side comments, there is a lot of damage control that has to take place to put all the half-truths and lies back in perspective.

You know I hate to have anyone blow a motor, but it does come down to knowing you truck. If you are highly modded and you run WAY less than others. You may want to revisit your tuner. I got a bad program once and knew it right after driving for like a few min. Learn your trucks guys!!

 

Turn the damn radio down long enough to listen to your truck!

 

Exactly!!! At the end of the 1/4 mile I turn on something like, " Put in on you" or something, but from burnout to the traps its dead silence im my truck!!
