I'm 21 and pay about $280-290 for my insurance for both my vehicles every month. Really depends on what charges the insurance people want to tack on for the month! But I'm classified as high risk with a convertible V8 so I'm prolly not a good example for you...damned tickets ! If I remember correctly it was only about $120 (thinking less) for the "L". USAA is prolly the best deal out there if you are "lucky" enough to be or be related to someone in the military.

I'm 19 and have a 2000 L. My insurance is 1800 a year. it is through shelter. I make 50/50 payments with my parents, and have a full time job. I just wish my tires would last longer. That is what is going to cost you the most.

I am 19. I realize now, after I bought my 1998 truck that I should have gone with a lightning. I could easily afford the monthly payments and I wouldnt be dumping all this money into my truck to try and get it to do 14 seconds. However, I live in alaska and a 4x4 is more reasonable here. Hence the decision of my current 4x4.

37.

Insurance - what's that? (just kidding). I'm married and approaching (cough!) middle age. No tix/claims/etc and I pay about $800/yr. My wife's I30t costs more.

I'm a real "senior " member. My Superchip is programmed in the geriatric mode for senior citizens day at the track. It also has a built in shutdown mode for when I fall asleep while racing. I replaced the ashtray with a Geritol dispenser. I'm 48 pushing 49 and like SevenDust and Creed. If I wasn't married I would have already died from VD or other over indulgences. Party on.

Thats nothin..

I dont own the Lightning yet, but my monthly payment on the Trans Am (2001 WS6) is $675 plus $300 a month for insurance due to the fact that I am 20 with two speeding tickets on my record. I am hoping that the Lightning will be a bit cheaper. I was a full time security officer supervisor, but just graduated from Mid Florida Tech with a degree in Digital Designing, so looking forward to a great career pretty soon

I'm with Snoopy, hehe...

37, married, house, dog, 2 kiddies......I moved from Chicago suburbs 9 years ago to Munster, IN (just over the border) and my insurance costs are MUCH cheaper. I pay 340 every six months for my 02 Lightning.

Just turned 21 and GOD I love it, I've had my L since I was 17 and its a great feeling bro!

Hell no I'm not married, and my driving record is somewhat rocky but OK compared most kids with power like this. I get BS stuff for no front plate and loud exhaust and tinted windows and my insurance is only around 1200 a year, but thats because its in my fathers name which I would suggest for any young adult to do. Save's me allot of cash!
