I'm 16 but........I do have an afterschool job and pay for the truck monthly. My parents pay for the insurance. I got mine used for $20,000, my dad got it from a friend and got a great deal on it with only 15k on the clock. I know I am very lucky but where I go to school(Private school, St. Thomas Aquinas HS) the cars there make mine look old(New BMW Convertibles and IS300's as far as the eye can see). And my parents can hardly afford to send me there(one's a police officer and one's a teacher, big payin jobs )

I'm 63, same age as LIGHTNINROD. There's a guy, just a little older than me in the Detroit area. Just goes to show the broad appeal of the Lightning!

Thumbs up

I am 14 and when I first saw the Lightning I had to have it.
I told Father I wanted it now.
Father agreed even though it meant hiring another driver.
My driver is Charles.
Charles has tried my patience more than once.
When we are at a light I say, "Do not let this car pass us!"
Charles does not seem to be in the spirit of things.

I have some fun when a light turns yellow.
I say, "Charles, if I sit at this intersection, you're fired."

Once, we were at a light and a police car pulled up beside us.
"Charles, make smoke come from the tires or your fired."

All in fun, I would never really have Charles fired.
He has nine points now and will be losing his license anyway.

51. Don't feel any older than I did 20 years ago. Do notice that I
tend to get grouchy, don't listen to things I should, don't believe
what I could, and like to look at younger women. Especially well
suntanned ones of Italian/Sicilian decent.
