I was wondering how old you lightning drivers were?

Lately I have found the lightning top on my list for a vehicle.
I am currently driving a fully loaded v6 99 camaro. It seems that a lot you guys are in your upper 20's lower 30's?
Are there any 19-20 year olds out there with a lightning? If so how much are you paying for insurance?

By the way I am 19, and will be a lightning driver some time soon

I've found that most are low-mid 30's +...at least that's what it looks like locally judging by the pics that I have seen of past get togethers

I guess i am one of those old guys
Im 30 I have all the discounts (married, multi car, home, safe driver) and I pay 511 every 6 months for the 02 L (0 deduct)

There are some 16 17 and 18 year olds on this board that might be able to help you with ins for THEM but the best thing to do is call your ins company and see what it will be for YOU. Tons of variables in the ins game. location is a big one. driving record is another. amount of coverage (dollar wise), amount of deductable, the list goes on and on.

Good luck
Johnie

19 and single.

My best friend ownes a lightning and he pays... You wont believe this. 300 bucks every 6 months because he is on his dads insurance. However his Lightning payments are kind of scary! 550 bucks a month. I am 19 as well. I own a 1998 F-150 Stepside and I pay 300 every 6 months on my own plan. My truck payments are another 310. I hope that helps you decide what your getting into.

Im 35, been married 14 yrs , and pay 750 a year for insurance. Its taken me this long to be able to afford something like this!!! I would have killed to have one of these at 20 yrs. old!! Probably killed myself too! LOL! I have seen several teenage kids driving new Lightnings around here! They seem as shocked to see an old man like me driving one as I am to see them in one! LOL!

21 here.....I am looking to buy a Lightning also, I have talked to blkbanshee before and I definitely have to look into a new insurence company. I was quoted at $4000 for the year...I have no points on my license right now but I did rack up some tickests a few years ago. Good luckwith the search!

Yep my insurance company is killing me, I mean I pay 160$ a month for a v6 camaro. Well do you guys that are young who are making car payments, and paying insurance attend college? If so you must work year round and have a good job?
Maybe the fact is I just need to look around for a good insurance company. Save up some money, and find a good stable job and then I am all set!
