Well if you like it then it’s none of my business, but I wouldn’t be promoting the front end of that thing? Too many contrasts for my taste. Why didn’t you just buy a silver L if you love that chrome look?

Did I say I liked it? Funny, I don't remember that.

The man is looking for options on what to do to his scoops and I gave him one.

BTW, and beside the point, I do drive a silver lightning.

Chiken I just do not understand why everyone that has a taste for something different doesn't like it .

Bob 90% of the time when something is photoshop it is said that it is , Tim said he added them , I'm sorry that you do not like it , and yes Tim does drive a silver one. I see that he was trying to help . you were trying to cut down someone. I miss my truck and I miss all the people here , but the negativity I will not miss at all.

IMHO I think you should leave the grilles in the hood as they are now. The photoshopped pic with the bolts is overkill.

Just for grins, how about blacking out the shiny billet stuff and the grille inserts to see how badas$ that would look?

John,

I tend to agree with you. The more I look at it the less I like it.

Similar to what Tampasvt said, you could take black electrical tape and cover the silver, then stand back and decide.

You could build your own billet inserts to match the grills with aluminum slats from Home Depot them polish
them.

Gosh!!!! I didn't mean to start a flame....I've decided to leave them as they are. They have grown on me. I really like the bars from Home Depot tho. Thanks for the input.
WHTSVT- the inserts came with the hood from Cervini's.
Chikenears - I like the photoshop too

Leave the hood scoop grills as they are.

How about a blue oval in the upper grill and a chrome lightning bolt in the lower grill?
