Nope.

They are similiar to the grill, and draw attention to the aftermarket hood.

I'd probably try running 2-3 strips of tape over them and then paint them black. Remove the tape to reveal the silver underneath. At a distance, they'll match your billet grills.

Or, you could always install Street Scene grills to match the inserts.

Thanks for the input... I think I'll leave them as they are
Struckby99 - The lightning bolt came from www.billetandacrylic.com in Florida. Phone # 561-567-7645. I paid $39.00 inc S&H last year. They are really nice people, great to deal with.

i would NOT paint them, but it would look sweet with the horizontal lines that match the grilles.

You could go to a custom shop like blwnhd_#34 did and get a mini billet grille for it. Fits like 3 or 4 bars and looks awsome cuz it all matches. Thats what i'm gonna do when i get mine.

Have you considered doing this?

I know the pic is not all that good but if you look closely you'll see lightning bolts behind each scoop. I just thought of this and might do it myself.

Who's joking? I photoshopped the lightning bolts into the scoops but didn't mean it as a joke.
