Help, squeal at every shift now.
With a chip and intake my belt never squealed.
I take the chip out to have it reburned and in the mean time install a cat back. Now every wide open shift the belt squeals, what gives.
I know a cat back don't give you that kind of hp increase.
It sounds like crap!

Can't tell you if it will help for sure, but it sounds like someone got some oily or greasy hand on the belt and pulleys. Take the belt off and clean it inside and out with Alcohol and clean the pulleys real good also. If this doesn't get it you may have to get a new belt. What size pulley are you running and what size belt do you have?
