Buy your own Wide Band O2 Sensor, install it in an added O2 bung on the drivers side near the stock one, and then interpet the restults. It's the only way to verify that over-the-counter chip you just bought.
Check out FJO Enterprises for the most reasonably priced plug-and-play WB02 setup - I think it was arround $600. An O2 bung is a 18mmx1.5 thread, same as a large spark plug, same as a large oil drain plug. Use whatever is handy to plug the hole when the WB is not in use.
If you're really handy, let me know and I'll turn you on to another lower cost WB02 solution.
