PIAA 959 Fogs

I swapped out the PIAA 510 driving lights in order to try out the PIAA 959 projector fog lights. Photos are in my galley under cosmetics. I had to do some minor modifications for these to fit. I also color matched the outside case of the lamps. Not 100% sure I like them. They look different. Still using the stock wiring harness and switch. Let me know what you guys/gals think. If anyone wants to install these let me know and I will do a step by step.

ok, since nobody else will bite...

Aesthetically speaking, I like the stockers better. How's the lighting vs. stock ???

Whoa, I think they look great. Probally work alot better than the stock ones too. Actually, I don't think the stock ones work at all.

The stock ones are more of a fog light projecting light more to the shoulder of the road. I notice a difference.

These are a projector style fog light. Not a long range driving light. These will be awesome in foggy/foul weather conditions. I plan to add long range driving lights later. Have a couple of minor obsticles to over come.

Thumbs up

Silver-Bolt,
I will give you some feed back.
First thing I have to give you a huge thumbs up for trying different things and for sharing them with us. I still love the Viper seats and center console mod. As far as the PIAA 959's I think they look awesome straight at you, and from the side angle they look good. They do look like they would look a little better if they were in a couple more inches, but you would probably have to do a lot more modifications to get them in tighter. I could get use to the way you have them now pretty quick though, and it shows the detail of your color matching more this way. So all in all I would give you another thumbs up on an option for an upgrade to a fog light that we could use. Very nice...
Bill

The only way to mount the lights in deeper would be to cut the back of the pocket out. As it is I had to do a little Dremel work to get them where they are know. Projector lights have very deep cases. They are growing on me. My wife said the look like frog eyes. lol.
