Sorry to hear you can't be there in person supporting the largest Mod Motor event in history. This years payouts are smoking, and you've seen nothing yet.

Talking

You will see the MOST Lightnings at this year's Modular Shootout, bar none Doug...Any where from Sal's 10 second beast to my stock 13 sec 01 bolt...This will be a huge event and like Dave said, the purses for us Lightning owners will be much more than the Truck class at FFW will ever pay out. Plus you get to see the FASTEST Modular Cars in the country at this year's Modular Shootout. 7 second animals to nice 11 and 12 second daily driven N/A cars...Most of the FFW competitors in Mod Motor will be attending the shootout as well, (except for the die hard few)...

Like Johnny said, this will be a great exhibition for all of the FAST Lightnings to compete..Hope to see everyone at Cecil in a few weeks...

Cecil is the only choice for our venue right now. Everyone wants it where they live, and I certainly can appreciate everyones desires. We have many many racers coming from CA, IL, CO, Texas, Michigan, Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina, New York, Deleware, Indiania, Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. We also have 200 specatators (some are racers) from Canada with booked motel rooms. Even Joe Dasilva is coming. We will have over 100 racers out of state. Most are driving over 8 hours.

Maybe someone can tape it for me, I think I'll hang with you doug and go to Richmond, VA for FFW. You can't put a price on the amount of fun my wife and I have at these FFW events.
