Hey Vin,
where did you get your Boyd Coddington smoothies, and are they 20's or 18's? I'm thinking of maybe a set of 18's

Thanks, JR

I got them from my rim guy here who i got my 99-00 Chrome stock wheels from. I called boyd direct to see if it would be cheaper to get the rims from them and the tires from so place local. But my rim guy came through with a deal that was cheaper to have him get the rims and tires and mount them also i didnt have to worry about those rims sitting outside my house to get stolen or something. The Smoothie 2's are 20x10 mounted on Dunlope Sport Sp 9000 295/40/20. As im guessing you know i had to wait 13 weeks for my rims because the first time they made them something went wrong with the like 10 inch wide part of the rim. But well worth the wait as you can tell. Today im putting a 1/2 drop kit on. Im not into the dropped look but that drop still likes stock height with the rake look nose down *** end up. It just makes the rims fill up the wheel wells better and make them look bigger what im looking for. I will post some pics when i do the drop.

Thumbs up

Well worth the wait and good things come to those who wait . Boyd rims are made to order so you will wait with any rim but its worth it. Man when it was getting close to be like 11-12 weeks i started looking at other rims thinking i better choose something else because i was never getting those rims. Then they came in finally and i was happy. But one thing that happened was since the rims are 10 inches wide my rim guy had to use lots of pressure to get the tire to pop around the rim. Well one of the dunlope sports exploded and even spilt the steel in the tire. So i had to wait an extra day but worth it. The quality is awesome on the rims and they look 100 times better in person.

Vinnie what did you do to my truck looks like i side swiped your red truck and the paint got all over mine. But seriously Boyd said he wont be making the Smoothies anymore for the Lightning since he had such a problem with mine. Oh yeah and they dont come in 22 only 20. One more thing Vinnie you dont have to put the IMG around the link you cut and paste from the gallery. That link already has the IMG tag around it thats why when you post a pic that shows up.
