If that does in fact equal 33k american, that's a decent price. That;s only about 1k over sticker. Dealers here are marking Lightnings up as high as 7-8k over sticker, but the average is 5k over sticker.

If that is brand new, thats only a hundred or so above MSRP, which isn't bad if you can't get X-Plan and stuff.

Depending on where you are, price varies. Within 60mi of me, MOST dealers have a mark up of 1-2k on their Lightnings.

Wink

Come to Maine, just down from Canada and they have them here for $29,995.00 and that price is for everyone, no special plans or anything.

Eh? MSRP on a L in Canada is just over $42000 Canadian.

They're not that hard to find at that price either. Now those of you who'll do the conversion will realize that's quite a bit less than the american MSRP. But, any vehicle sold in Canada has to be registered and stay in Canada for 6 months before being eligible for export to the US.

As for L's in the US... Geez, here in Dallas we've got them by the armload on the lots... Dealers are begging people to come buy em.

hahhah!!

So the plan is working then...we will flood the American market with our substandard currency so they cannot use their vending machines. This will eventually put the entire USA into a horrible panic which will allow Canada to someday take over North America!!! hahhahhaa!!!

Now all we have to figure out is how to stop a multi trillion dollar juggernaught of an army from just crossing the boarder and taking our snack foods...

I know we will call them different names...like Smarties!! ya that will work

Just so you know, the Mexicans are in on it too!!

Hello Ecko :

You should be able to find a much better deal than that.
Sticker as was mentioned is 42,000.00 Canadian
This was sticker price on my 01Lightning last September
and I was able to haggle with the dealer and paid less than sticker price for it.
Definitely shop around.

Although the SVT dealer here in Windsor (the only one) has none on the lot right now, it might well be worth a phone call.

Good Luck

Best bet is X-Plan.... I happened to be lucky and grabbed a PIN, next day I was at the dealer getting my 02 TrueBlue walking out the door cheaper than MSRP.... Good luck though.
