"E" on your fuel guage means you have about
approximately 2 gallons left in the tank. Beyond my control late last nite, I made it home with needle at a perfect 0 degrees on the "E," (or perfectly horizontal). Filled up this morning and poured in 23.3 gallons. Re-read the '01 brochure and it said the tank holds 25 gallons.....

twisted, r u leaving the truck running while its fueling? if so, that is why it takes a while to reach the full mark. if you shut it off, and fuel it, then turn the key on, it should shoot up to full in a matter of a second or two. the old cars just to used to go up while running and fueling at the same time, not the newer cars, they want people to get into the habit of turning car (or truck in this case) off when going to get gas.
