8ntfstnf, I also use the Liquid Glass. Best stuff out there IMO. I get tons of compliments and questions as to what kind of wax i use, because the shine and reflectivity is amazing. But it actually contains no wax at all. 20 bucks for a can is alot, but worth it. It actually bakes onto the finish. Good stuff, Good stuff

I thought they were the same even though different part numbers. Below is a photo of my truck from using Zaino last year and I think I'll call Sal at Zaino and see what he says about using it with the 3m hand glaze.

Make sure that you aren't applying too much. It doesn't take much to do the entire truck. Also, never swirl this stuff - always use an X-pattern with a very soft cloth. Any marks in the paint will magically disappear. I find it best to put on a light coat of wax on the truck after removing the 3M.

ROB are you crazzy!!! Letting those Hookers sit on your hood. Well its your hood. I myself wouldn't let anyone sit on my hood..... unless I got a new one out of it.
Oh and Zaino you can apply it in direct sunlight. Although you have to use more of it.
easy on easy off, no worrying about smears, getiing it on the plastic parts comes off in a snap. Easiest stuff IMO.
To each his own.

I took a week vacation a few days after I bought the Lightning in 99 to do the full Liquid Glass treatment.
It's more of a hard sealer than anything. They say to remove it, you have to use mineral spirits. Apply a nice wax on top of that and you've got glass.
I applied 8-10 coats 3-4 hours apart on the entire vehicle(I used 5 bottles). Best thing I ever did for my truck.
*Dawn dishwashing liquid works well to remove some old wax, but a good paint cleaner will get the rest. It's an extra step, but well worth it, IMHO.
Rob:
Nice hookers, man...

I'm kinda confused.
I have never used Zaino, or Liquid Glass. But after seeing some of your trucks after you used these products, I have been tempted. All I have ever used is the good old tried and true three step system from Meguires. But I substitute the Gold Class paste wax instead of the deep crystal carnuba liquid for the last step. I then hose down the truck with Mother's Showtime detailer spray with a final buff and Voila!!! My question is. . .can the use of these other products (that seem more difficult to use) produce a better look than the Meguires/Mother's combo?
I mean, if using Zaino or Liquid Glass makes hookers want to sit on your truck. . .then I guess I better switch. The only girls that wanna sit on my truck don't put out. . .

Keep in mind that the 3M Handglaze is a polish, not a wax. It's to buff the finish of the paint, and then you apply whatever wax product you like after that.
As for WrongDayJs question, I personally have used Mothers, Meguires, Liquid Glass, Zymol, and pretty much every other detail product there is on my vehicles over the years. In my opinion, Zaino products blow them all away. But you have to learn how to use them. Zaino products are NOT waxes, but special products that are chemically designed to work with each other and your paint finish. It takes some getting used to using Zaino stuff because they don't follow some of the guidelines we've all learned over the years for wax. Of course it's all personal preferance, but hey, you did ask .
