how often do you guys clean your exhaust tips?

Once a month, I use a straight razor blade, and scrape the windows bare. You would be amazed at the contamination that your windows accumulate, even when using cleaners.
Have you ever noticed at the track, a brand new truck doesn't like shoe polish on the window. Its because the glass is clean and has no road/atmospheric grime to hold the pigments.
Use a blade once a month, and save your windows for years...
Other than that, Mother Billet polish for the tips, and simple green for the engine.

Once a month I polish with Mothers mag polish, but for weekly cleaning I just use my mag wheel cleaner and my wheel brush (I clean the exhaust tips just after I clean the wheels). both inside and out... takes off everything and exposes the polish nicely...
haven't found anything that work better/easier than this combo...
cleaning takes less than a minute...

I agree - I don't like seeing the black soot on the inside of the tips. If they were turned down toward the ground, that would be another story... it is something you see. By having the inside as clean as the outside, it amplifies the shine they make - makes it more noticeable.
...guess I am a neat freak.

I do the outside about once a wek and the insides when I feel like it.
