Those of you who have long tubes

Did any of you have shorties with the high-flow cats prior to the long tubes AND did you notice any increase in interior noise with the L.T.'s? I've heard from 1 individual that the interior noise is LOUD. Any input?

They're only loud if you remove both sets of cats, put in an xpipe, and leave on the original muffler.

Look who crawled out of the woodwork Tim-howzitgowin? Drove past the new biz last week.Is it going to be up and running before our Northern Lightning brotherin get down here at the end of the Month?Hope so. So your saying to leave the stock cats to quiet it down? I know you had several combos on your 99.Re-read your last post.I'm confused on what your suggesting.I was thinking L.T.'s , stock cats and aftermarket cat-back.That should keep it a little more tolerable in the cab, right?

I have no cats on right now with the long tubes and get a lot of reverberation in the cab. Paul and I are working on a new system that will have long tubes, high flow cats, muffler w/internal x-pipe, and SS tips (3 1/2").

Trying to get a system that looks great, sounds great, won't knock the wax out of your ears, and isn't too hard on the old pocketbook.

Will keep in touch.

PS....you should stop by on the 27th. Lots of L's coming by and we're having a couple of raffle giveaway goodies. (Not $10.00 ones either!)
