What next?

I finally got my 2001 L a couple weeks ago. It came with a J69 chip and nothing else. It has been a blast to drive, but I had to take the chip out because it was burned for 93 octane and all we have in AZ is 91. Dumping Torco in the tank at every fill up was getting old. Since the chip is out and will need a reburn, I figure now is the time to put on a few mods. Any suggestions on the basic starters would be appreciated.

What's up CDUB. A fellow AZ Lightning owner here. Congrats on getting the truck? What color is it and what part of town are you in? I think a new lower pulley and a cold air intake are good options. Lot of used ones for sale in the classifieds if you don't want to pay retail for new stuff. 91 octane gas sure does suck here. Check out the post on this same page " ATTN AZ Lightnings ". Looks like some people are going to get together out at the Pavillions on Saturday night. Maybe you could check out some mods others have done. Maybe we'll see you out there.

Cdub,What Kingpin said.I've got most of the bolt -ons on my "L" and there's a couple of guys out here that have more than me.
This is my 2nd Gen II,so i've got a pretty good idea as far as what works and what doesn't.
hope to see you there!
-Dave.
