I have the same sound. Like squeaking when i hit a bump. I think it's the rubber bushings that hold the bed in place.

Its probably your tailgate . I always turn the rubber bumpers around that are on the bed and the noise goes away. Its annoying as hell to have a Kick A$$ looking truck making noise like a POS.

I know what you mean on that sound I have a XLT and get the same sound going over bumps or making turns I guess its all part of owning a truck.

Mine does it only on left turns or bumps, and the noise is definately coming from the right side.

I suppose you should be congratulated if there are squeaking sounds coming from your bed.

I had the same irritating squeak you speak of; I fixed it by removing and reinstalling my tailgate. Good luck!

I too have a similiar squeak. JuanInTN what exactly did you do to the tailgate to remedy it? Updated parts or just removing and reinstalling it.

If your Lightnings are lowered, it could be the upper shock mount(s) in the rear.

i've found that a bit of wd40 on the joints in the tailgate will do it. some more serious oil would probabley last longer though

When I put a bedrug and a hard tonneau on, the problem was solved. It was annoying and I could not get use to it. I was going to research into it but decided to addon the things I wanted first. Since then, I have a completely smooth sounding truck where I mostly hear the S/C and sometimes rattling change.

Just removed it and reinstalled it! The squeak never returned. Good luck.
