Whose 4lb pulley?

Whose 4lb pulley?

Going to put a 4lb pulley on and need advice on which brand to get. Not trying to start a war, just want advice from thoses who have done it before. If you were going to do it again whivh one would you put on ? Thanks Skip

You can either get a JL od PSP pulley they are the same design or get a JDM, LFP interchangeable one also same design.

PSP and JL don't have a "cage"
JDM and LFP do.

Your choice.

I don't think LFP's is the same as JDM's. If you look a the pictures, you can see the difference. I don't think LFP's utilizes a cage.

Actually it is.......his new pulleys are interchangeable.

They are interchangeable; but, not the same.

Ditto. Go to his site and look at the pictures. They are interchangeable and come with 4# and 6# pullies.

Ok you guys are right. All I meant was that LFP's are interchangeable design like JDM's. But physically they are different setup.

It comes in a combination of the 2/4 or 2/6 or 4/6.

Cool LFP interchangeable pulley kit

LFP will begin offering our billet interchangeable lower pulley kits in 2#, 4#, and 6# single pulley kits. Starting next week.

I like the idea of switching pulleys. If you swap pulleys, say a 4# to a 6#, do you need different chip programs?

Get a chip with 2 or 4 programs.

One for the 4#, and one for the 6#.

On the subject of pullies. I really cant understand why more tuners are not making a caged pulley. Thats the only way I would go on my truck, better safe than sorry. Its just too bad there is no competition on the caged style. JDM's $445 is way steep for a pulley IMO but there is no other choice... Its too bad...
