Bugs

I washed my truck the other day, and it was caked with bugs
after I washed it and dried it. there was still marks on the paint
where the bugs hit,

what do I use to get rid of them, and that is safe on the paint

Anythink is safer than the bugs...

1. 9-10" buffer
2. McGuire's Wax Cleaner
3. McGuire's Gold Wax or Zaino(always have to include Zaino or it turns into a 300 reply thread on it).

The wax cleaner should get out any stains that the bugs left. Just keep a good coat of wax on the front end. Liquid Glass is still my favorite. Bugs just wash off with a hose...

Go get some bug cleaner. Spray it on, wait 30 sec. to a minute and scrub. The bug cleaner will break the remains down. It will take some time but it's the only way to go. Wax will not remove it but it will be a good idea to wax the areas. The bug cleaner will probably remove the wax.

If the bug remains are etched into the clearcoat, bug and tar remover won't help. If so, I would recommend 3M Swirl Mark Remover. It is by far the mildest paint cleaner you can get. It comes in formulas for either ligth or dark colors. However, the only real difference is the color of the residue left behind.
