Hey guys, not much time to chat, I need mad help though.

Last night my truck broke down due to fuel pump failure.

Whats the TSB number on that? They are playing dumb on me saying the only thing recalled is the intercooler. I know for a fact the Lightnings are known for fuel pump failures, 1999 models in particular.

They just want me to pay for it (even though I have extended warranty - a real fiasco)

To my knowledge, there is no TSB for the fuel pump issue.

Even if there is, if your truck is out of basic warrenty, Ford will not pay for it. If you have an extended warrenty, it may or may not be covered. You'd be surprised how little most ESPs really cover.

I have 43k on the clock and they want me to pay up. I've got the Easy Care package, $50 deductable.

Now they are hesitating because they know I want to cancel it!

Like they said, a contract is a contract until someone wants out.

I'll make a phone call next week.
