Question Guys....help me out...need to make a choice

i need a new car, and i found a 99 Mountaineer fully loaded with a $2,500 system in it with 60k miles, or a 93 Black L with 100k miles on it, the mountaineer is $11,500, and the L is $7,500, i think i might buy the L because i only need a truck for another year then off to college. But give me your opinion anyway because the mountaineer is a really good deal its worth almost 20 g's, but the guy who has it fixed it up for nothing and is selling it. Thanks.

Buy the Lightning and when you get ready for college give it to charity. Say " Tim's needs more toys charity"

Thats what I would do too there's nothing like the Lightning family. We have great times togather.

if it were me i would say get the L, but thats probably because i hate explorers and am a truck guy. the mounaineer is probably the better choice though. less miles, less problems, more practical. but if your looking for speed, thats another story. look at it this way...Mountaineer: less maintainence, more room , more practical, better sound syste, u can carry more people(that may good or bad)...then the L: more power, easier to mod, you have a bed, more fun, easier to work on.....

hey miclightning--you going to Notre Dame for college? I only ask cause I am an alumni and I think I remeber you saying you were wearing a cap at the G2G the other day. Not to mention, with a handle like "miclightning" you must be Irish.

BTW, I would buy neither and wait two years, and get a used gen 2 L via saving more money.

good points Big, i think i might go with the L, because its only $7,500 and i have around $11,000 so i have money to use to fix or mod with, so its better.
