I'm also a Supra owner and if I
remember correctly, vinnie is supposed to have his own performance shop with dyno in NYC area somewhere? If so, why would he need to come to Sal's shop? I have no personal knowledge, but many say bad things about his business practices on Supraforums. The Supra tuners paralell to L are sound Performance (chicago), Powerhouse Racing ( Texas), Toyomoto(Florida), and Titan (Florida). Just curious about why vinnie used Sal's shop?

I use a local Mustang shops dyno for all my tuning, and Vinny uses it also from time to time. This shops dyno is used by a lot of big name people, and I've met some really great other tuners there, like Job Spetter Jr for example. It's cool to chat tuning with other people who do different vehicles, you never know when you will pick up a new usefull piece of info.

I've seen Vinnie run at MIR a couple times a couple years ago and his car is fast as *****. He has a gen 1 runnin 10's too if i'm not mistaken. He won his class on race day a few years back and received his $200 to the winner and was so pissed he slammed his trophy on the ground in front of track sponsors cause the payout sucked so bad. Huh you figured he woulda known that before he made the venture from NY.

Yep, that's Vinnie Ten in that picture. He's a real nice guy, and that's the quickest Supra in the world. I think he's gone 7s in it already. That day on the dyno, he was testing a new head. He made 1020rwhp, and 770rwtq. He made the same exact hp as the old head, but the old head only made 660 ftlbs, so he was very happy.
