Question What would you rather have?

Say you needed some extra cash and you had a 2002 L that you owned outright. Would you rather have the L, or a '91 Syclone (w/ 18,000 miles) and $15,000?

I know it sounds crazy, but remember "you need some cash".

honestly....i love the L and wouldn't want to give it up, but in this situation....if u need the cash...i say take the Syclone and the $15k. i liked these gmc's alot when they were out. u never really saw too many of them, but when u did they were sharp. i had a chance to ride in one around '92. whhhhooooooo, boy for a seventeen year old kid at the time it was the most amazing machine to ride in. me and a buddy got the guy in the syclone to pull over while runnin "the strip", it was just a guy and his son. we went to a road off the strip to see what it would do. so i'm sitting in the passenger seat with the guys kid in my lap, and he looks at me and asks if i'm ready, next thing i know my head hits the headrest and the kids head hits me in the chin..

awesome power. course quick trucks have come along way, especially with the L in existence....but i'd take a syclone in a heart beat still

Don't get rid of the L! You'll be upset with yourself in the long run... try and find something else you can give up to save some money... Just my .02$

My feeling are like 3GROC, don't buy a syclone if you need money. If you need a truck and want hi-performance,buy an old pick-up and a late model mustang. Parts for the stang are plentiful and cheap

Get for an older (used) L. Saves money & you still have an L.

I wouldn't get rid of the L cause in the end everything always works out and you'll be happier.

CrazyFoo, you are not alone. I would love a Z06 its the most affordable sports car when you consider everything you get with it, in my opinion. The cobra may now run a close second, but the Z06 isnt even blown...but the insurance in NJ would kill me, as I am only 22.

Looks like...If you 'need' the money, you GOTTA sell the L. That's better than having Vito come to your door and leave you with only nine fingers cause you didn't pay on-time! The ONLY way I'd get into the Syclone is 1) if I bought it right. 2) it didn't need any expensive work, and 3) I knew I could make money on it. Otherwise, as Fast Gator recommended, get an old truck and a Stang to play with. Take a lot of pictures of the L, cause years from now when we're all forced to drive little 'green' vehicles, you're really gonna want it back, and at least you can say that you owned one. Plus you'll still be able to wear your pinky-ring.
