Selling the Lightning.......................
Guys and Gals,
I've decided to sell my '01 Lightning. I've owned 30 plus vehicles and I don't ever get attached to any of them, too much fun to get the next vehicle. But I must say, it's going to be ROUGH letting this beast go!!!!!!!!
It's in the classifieds so if you know anyone intersted, let me know.
So good-bye for now. Never know, I may be back, or decide I just can't sell it.
Thanks for all the great info, it's by far the best Forum i've ever seen!!

I used to have an Explorer Sport and have been looking into '99 Sports. I've found them for around $12-$13k loaded with all the goodies and lower miles. We're going to buy/sell homes and the payment would be easier on the pocket book, plus we'd qualify for more.
Future plans after that are to keep the Sport and get a mint 87 Grand National to play with.

About the mods, i can't imagine anyone NOT wanting a Lightning with the mods i have. I feel they're the BPU (basic performance upgrades) of a Lightning. Nothing like getting $2000 in performance mods, $1000 plus in stereo, and $1500 in Zeibart for the same price as a stock L!!!
I think it will sell faster this way. It's a lot of vehicle for the money!!
Has anyone done a KBB.com value on our trucks lately? It's amazing what they show they're still worth!!!
