Check engine light ?

I got a check engine light the other day. Thought I found the problem. Looked like I had an air leak at the oil trap I installed. I tightened all the clamps, disconnected the battery, turned on the head lights. I reattached the battery and the light was gone. I stays off for about 10 miles then comes back on. Did I just not truely clear the code and this is the same code, or do I still have a problem. Going to try and get it scanned tomorrow. Any insight?

Silver, I've had mine on afor a couple of months now. It has never thrown a code, or triggered the check engine light. Mine was getting pretty hard to pull air through, due to the micro-mist filter too.

Might have been something else?

Originally I didn't have it hose clamped in. Once the tubing got hot it expanded and the fit was loose. Could easily have been drawing in air. All clamped now, but I can't ditch the code.
