Steet Scene smooth bedcaps - Stage1

Here they are, finally.

They're made of eurothane? Kinda like heavy rubber. I've taken an hour to make sure the fit is as close to perfect as I can get.
A lot better than I expected.

I'll post more pics. when everything gets back from the paint shop.

I'm having the tailgate smoothed while I'm at it.

I called ye old today and they never got my check so have to see if anyone cashed it and send a new one damn. Oh well good things come to those who wait hehe.

Rob:

Ooops, too late. Just dropped them off at the body shop.

They fill the entire area perfectly. Contoured w/ no gaps like we have now. Those spots were basically the only areas that needed a little work. It was more the thickness of the caps than the shape.

I'll have them done by next week.

Did you have to prep the rails much, alot of sanding how was the fit ? All i did was take one and compare the length agaisnt the stock bed rail to see if it covered that gap at the front we have now and looked like it did.

Well i cant wait for the pics i wish i could get mine on sooner but want to get all the painting done at one shot. I still cant believe that the box my SS smooth bed rails came in was bigger then my damn smooth wiper cowl box and still the cowl was 60 dollars in shipping and way more then shipping for the smooth bedrails. Once i get the smooth side steps off to the body shop to get everything painted. Will post lots of pics and of all the harley handles on my truck .

No biggie Rich. Hopefully the fiberglass caps for my truck will be done before the Woodward Cruise. More black less plastic !!!

P.S. For more redness look into a third brake light off of the XL F-150. It's ALL red
