Judging by the location, it's probably 1/8 mile racing, and as described, it's basically sanctioned street racing...........I doubt you'll have time slips..............Hialeah Speedway has no timing equipment, and Trackwise, is slightly smaller than Bristol, but without the huge number of stands of course.

Might be cool....................should be ricey..........but if you wanna do a little a$$-whoopin' and get recognized, may not be a bad idea..................I'll check it out just out of curiosity

You guys wanna plan for August 8th.....I guess that'll be the next event......a week from tomorrow...........We can get together at my house, since I live 5 min. from there, and head out together in a Mini-caravan........I'll post early next week on a separate thread here and on ******.com to remind any and all interested.......I figure even though it's gonna look like a ghetto Fast and the Furious, we'll be able to legally lay the smackdown on some rice, and maybe make some money on the side, if we keep it on the DL......(shhh...u didn't get that idea from me.)

Not going to spend $20 to run an 1/8 mile with a bunch of ghetto *** ricers.

If i really want to run late at night, i will stick to Moroso midnight madness.

 

I'm with you on this..........but frankly, this summer sucks major donkey ball$ to drive up 70-80 miles, and have it rain every time...........I'm gonna wait till around Thanksgiving when the temperatures are more forgiving, and a drought is usually in order. Like that, i know I'll get some runs in, and my times will even be better...........until then, I think it's worth checking out at least once, just to spank some rice.............we'll let u know how it goes.

Well, the temperature thing is going to suck whereever you go down here. And for the rain thing goes....its starting to let up. I have been to Moroso 3 times this month and not 1 rainout. But i can feel ya on the driving thing, you are a lil bit more south than me.
