no, we're just a subsiduary, or whatever the word is. As much as I hate to admit it, our union is more company friendly than member friendly. Dont get me wrong, they do their part to help us, but they screwed us on our last contract. The company made an offer, we voted it down, voted to strike, then our union representative told us that if we strike, it would be a wildcat, and that they wouldnt back us. so we voted again, accepted the offer, now we make less than we did ten years ago.(after the cost of living, raise of insurance prices, and removal of quarterly bonusses.

well it was more like us not having a choice. Im not implying nothing, but our union president was in the middle of filing bancruptcy when the contract was signed. two weeks later, he resigned. two days after that, he went and bought himself a brand new truck. is there anyone i can talk to to make sure this doesnt happen again? it'll be three more years before our next contract, but , id like to know what can and cant be done.(i might need another lightning by then. i need to make sure i can afford it)
