Drag strip stories...
Couple of stories from tonight that didn't go with my questions:
1) The tower announcer was HILAROUS. She kept harassing the ricers "WOW thats a carbon fiber hood, ask him how much it cost, bummer it looks like the hood didn't help that time." "Look at that wing, it's tall enough to block our view from the tower!"
2)There was a Subaru Station Wagon running. Don't laugh. He got EXACTLY 20.55 with a 620 light every run I watched. He dialed in a 20.50 and won the cash bash as far as I know...
3) My only satisfying race of the night: a Camaro Z28. He was anxious to beat me, so he red-lighted (392), I got my average light of 642. At 1/8I was beating him by .13 seconds and 6mph. At the 1/4 mile I had him 13.34 to 13.68 (even enough to make up for his red light). He was not pleased
All-in-all it was a great night.
