Unhappy Sorry Don....

Don,

First, congrats on the 11's!!!! Must feel good.... But the guy that took your 2001 tire and rim is just a jackass!! How many 2001-2002 Lightnings were there??? Out of them, who did you NOT know...or met for the 1st time??? Bet you can narrow it down from there.... Guess we will have to take shifts being "guard-dogs" at these events.....and I pity the sh*thead who tries anything on my watch....Hope you get a good deal on a new tire and rim..

Scott

That really blows Don. A great weekend turns out real chitty. Iam sure you must have narrowed it down by now, to whom would have done such a deed. I can only assume your "stuff" was close to Jims trailer/tent area, so it really takes some *****

I am sorry to hear about your tire Don, what day was it missing?
I did not attend on Sunday, because I had a family event.
good thing about my truck being one of the only 1st Gens there is I don't get any tire cunfusion with the 2nd Gens.

anyway, Now you know why I always lock my Jack to my spare other Stuff, and thats also why I usually drive to the track on my drag tires/rims.

I lock everything not as much for thieves, But for the guy that probably swapped his tires back on ...and drove home and unpacked and said "where the hell did this tire come from?"
Well this is a good reason for you to buy a cable lock and keep your stuff secured from now on.
At Etown I usually just lock my spare to a pole or their fence, sad fact , but that way it will probably be there when you return.

See you at Etown in OCT, with alot cooler weather.

John it happened Sunday afternoon.

It must have happened durring eliminations, all I know is my tailgate was on the tires , so the A Hole had to move the tailgate to get to it.

Hmmmm. Since it was UNDER a 100lb tailgate, I don't think someone can possibly mistake it for being their wheel. And if they did, they otta be shot. Whenever there is fun and excitement, something always has to bring it down... and thats exactly what the A-Hole who took it did...

Its pretty bad we have to go to such extremes to protect our property.
I am sure it wont happen again. I think we will all take alittle more percaution when securing are items, Just remember the crooks always get whats coming to them...or after them....

that is a Presa-canario..there trying to outlaw them so don't worry about getting one soon.
But I feel you could leave you tires, tailgate and lol..wallet next to one of these dogs...and it will be there when you return.

Are those dangerous dogs??? One of those wondered into my house during a party I threw back in may. It looked like it hadn't eaten in a long time so I kept it for a day and fed it. Called around and tried to find it a home, I almost decided to keep it myself, but decided to take it to the shelter to find a better home for it .... it was a really nice dog, but I think it was sick
