Truth be known III
J/K LOL
We just got home last night from being out of town on our 1 year wedding anniversary.
Looks like alot happens when you're only gone for a short time. We had a great time in June lake, Calif.
The L performed flawlessly. She's at 30,000 miles now, and still STOCK
While packing up the truck to return home, I met a man staying where we were. He works for Ford in the body design dept. He said the new body style F150 is great. The cab is wider, and has more interior room. He said they look like the SuperDuty, the grille opens along with the hood, and they have the notched down doors, just like the SuperDuty. He really liked our L, and asked how we liked it. He said alot of guys that he works with bought L's. It was good talking with him.
Now...............If only Ford offers the new body style KingsRanch 4x4 with the 5.4 S/C L engine, trans., & rear axle.
Watch and see how many views my thread topic generates. LOL

Hehe - 30k and no mods, huh? You've got ALOT of willpower - I could barely make it 3k!!
Glad to hear it, though. Nothing nicer than a reliable vehicle....
As for the 4WD - That would be great. Sure, it would be slow as heck in comparison, but it would still move - and be great for offroading. Just take a look at the Ivan Stewart edition TRD Tacoma - Supercharged Lexus 4.6 V8, extended cab, 4wd. In the 14's in the ¼-mile... Not a bad trade-off. You could STILL take any new Celica GT-S on the road, in your 4WD truck! - not to mention, you could take ANYTHING a foot or so of snow...
Personally, I'd settle for my L to be AWD/4WD... Just for a little more rain stability....

I like the idea of the King Ranch but the KR seats look like a briefcase I had in the '70's. Some love 'em, some hate 'em (just like you know who. Only difference is, the seats don't tell lies
