Need Help Quick!!!

A friend of mine has a 2000 Harley F-150. He was waxing it and locked himself out ... with it running!!! LOL

Anyone know of a way to get it unlocked (Without breaking a window)? LOL

If you prefer to e-mail me, my e-mail address is:

TheHylandr@aol.com

Thanks,

The only think I can suggest is if he has a rear slider, it can be popped open carefully with something like a thin bladed knife.

He has a Harley, without a keypad? I've used my keypad with the truck running...

I don't believe the 2000 Harleys had a keypad. As the 2000 L's didn't....

The spare...now why didn't we think of that

Nope, he doesn't have a keypad either...LOL.

We wanted to avoid paying big bucks for a new key, but that may be his only option.

$10.00 at most lock shops ... They HAVE the tools
to get that door open ... Our site security is pretty
good at it too .... <grin> Makes you fell REAL
safe when you see the rent-a-cops popping the
doors in 5 seconds ...

call the police and they should be able to get it open.

Better work fast or those fuel pumps might burn up.

Any tow truck driver has a 'Slim Jim' and knows how to use it. I locked mine at the airport with the engine running in the middle of the drop-off lane. Cop on a bicycle had it open in ~20 seconds. Paperwork took 10 minutes!

A non chipped key should be no more than $5 from the dealer. Then hide it on the truck.

Thanks for all the replies. We took Sals advice and used a thin knife through the rear slider.

Thought the window was going to break, but it eventually popped open
