What the heck is a Boss 5.4 F-150?
There is this yellow with black trim Boss 5.4 that roams around my town. I wish he'd be out whenever I have the Camaro out but that never seems to happen.
However, about a week ago, I got to race him in my 2500HD. I had my MacLander 18ft flatbed behind me. So between my truck weighing 6,300lbs and the trailer at about 1,500lbs, I had a total weight of 7,800lbs. I would wager that I am around at least 3,000lbs more than he was.
Anyway, light goes green, I nail it, and actually had him at first. He got on it and slowly reeled me in and eventually passed me. We took this race up to around 80mph or so and by this time he only had one or two car/truck lengths on me.
A loss is a loss, but I REALLY expected him to clean my clock especially with me having a trailer in tow. Needless to say, I'm either pleasantly surprised I hung as well as I did or his truck is really pathetic.
I'm posting this here cause it's the closest thing approiate for this truck I ran against. Sorry to offend. Just want to know what this was that I ran.
