Ford svt emblem on blower
I was just wondering if my 2001 lightning is one of a very few that have FORD SVT on the front of the blower instead of EATON most every 01 I have seen has EATON on the front maybe im crazy just curious.

Theres about a 50/50 chance that you will have the SVT emblem on your blower. My truck has eaton, but my friend who bought the truck about 2 weeks later has SVT. I think it depends on when your truck was made. I dont know any kind of dates or anything like that though...

Pretty sure it was late in the 01 model run that they started using the SVT emblem on the blower snout plate.

Mine has it also.

I've had both! My first blower said EATON, and the one they put in for the I/C recall campaign says Ford SVT. (They replaced EVERYTHING from the intake manifold to the blower.)

Joliet huh, I have family up there. I was just up there in my black 01 about 2 weeks ago. thats cool but my blower also says eaton...

wow, thats pretty weird.

was your rotors flaking or something?
