Somebody post install results A.S.A.P!I'm was contemplating going with a box behind the seat with a separate amp,but if performs as advertised it's too good a deal to pass up!

I just ordered myself one. Too good to pass up! Hopefully it will work on a 2000 Lightning.

I ordered one as well. It has got to make some improvement over our bassless system. Im not ready to dump $3K into a system. Speed comes first.

 

Anyone know how this thing sounds? I would like some more sound but I DON'T want that make your license plate vibrate bass, I like the more break your ear drum - tight bass.

 

I just ordered one for my 2002 Lightning. I should have it Wednesday and I'll should have it installed that night. I'll post results as soon as I have them. To date, my Lightning's stereo is completely stock.

 

Like I said, I'm pretty sure I'll get mine on Monday. So Monday night I should know something.

Everybody keep their fingers crossed. Hopefully the harness works with our factory stereos.

Actually, I replaced my factory cassette deck head unit with a factory Cd/mp3 head unit. It used the exact same plug and everything so I would imagine this shouldn't matter. But I can plug in my original factory headunit to check to make sure it works as well if anyone wants to know.

I'll put it like this, I had a 10 in. under my back seat and wasn't satisfied. The Clarion is only 8in and hits much harder! As you guys only have regular cabs, I imagine it'll fill your cabs up pretty nicely. At $150, you will not be dissapointed!! BTW, I still had the 10in back there as well, but can barely notice it.

 

Thanks Gene. Wonder if we can put a larger amp and better 8 inch driver in that enclosure. Hmm

I'm 6'8" tall so having something behind the seats is sort of out of the question. I need every bit of leg room I can get.
This is why I jumped at this box when I read that post on Friday. I like some bass to my music but before now there weren't any options that I knew of.

This solves two things for me...
1. I now have more bass in my L
2. I now have have a place to put stuff like my cell phone, etc.
