Who's pulley are you guys using...

As far as a 4lb lower go...which kits are you guys using. Ive heard of a few kits mad by different vendors here, actually being difficult to install/remove. You guys that run em...your $.02 would help. I just do not want to buy a kit that-when i try and remove- end up stripping bolts (like some of the horror stories i've seen)..thanks

Question pulley

HEVYRESQ

I use an uncaged #4 pulley from PSP, easy to install, It took me about 40 minutes to install, easy to remove if needed.

JL & JDM

I have a JL 4# on the 01L, & a JDM Caged 4# on the 02L. Either one is an easy install. I like the extra support on the JDM pulley, putting no additional side load on the crank front bearing. But, I've had no problem at all with the JL setup either.

My .02 worth

If you want a Pulley, buy it from a Pulley Company. One that specializes in Supercharger Pulleys and has so, for many many years. I'M SURE EVERYONE MAKES A GOOD PULLEY, but I can say from experience this guys quality and service is awesome.

I use South Florida Pulley Headquarters 2-3 LB Upper.
and South Florida Pulley Headquarters, 4lb T6 Aluminum Lower.

http://www.southfloridapulleyhq.com/...ucts_frame.htm

Hit the Lightning Pulley section for the Upper and engine section for the lower.

South Floridas Pulley

Sals pulley

the two are almost identical, i dont see why it would be necessary to go with south floridas pulleys for something like a blower pulley

Just my .02 worth

I would go with PSP or JL. I have one of each. Once you get the OEM one off, it's easy to install either one.

I would recommend that if you value the info from this site that you buy from one of the supporting vendors here -
https://www.f150online.com/vendors.cfm
Especially since as was posted at least one vendor offers an identical pulley.

All pulley's are basically the same... pulley's are easy to get off once you know how to do it... like anything, the more you do it, the more you find tricks to do it faster. Once you isntall the pulley, youll know exactly what you have to do to get it off.

Sorry Silver 2000,

I'm sure JLP, JDM, PSP, LFP and other Supporting Vendors have excellent Pulleys. I strongly believe in keeping my money within the family, and have spent plenty of my money with JDM and LFP already. I also found out Sal and PSP are in my backyard, and I have all intentions in spending plenty more with Him, "especially after meeting him last week". But I do make my buys based on customer service and ease of dealing with a Company. I have NEVER EVER said a bad word about any of OUR VENDORS nor am I now.

CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG

No apology needed. I was offering a different perspective. My post was referring to yours but was addressed to the thousands of members who would read it.... Seems a no brainer, at least 2 or 3 Supporting vendors sell the same type of pulley. Give them a shot. If you don't get the service or ease you are looking for keep looking.

I think the majority of us are all getting along...
