Big wheels

Big wheels

I was at a park in Redmond and found this 01 lighting truck posing with huge tires.
I have the stock tires and think this big wheel look rocks. I do however question if
this tire wheel combo in not so big it creates tire rub. Has anyone on this board run tires
this large?

It’s a 22” Sport Metal with a Toyo 305/40/R22
It looks like he has 1.5” left before be hits the fender.

photos.

I ran 285/30/22's and had zero clearence problems, the 305/40/22 would have been to tall for my truck.

i hate how that looks, it is toooo high. It would look 1000000000 times better if it had smaller tires. I have 295/30/22s with no rubbing problems at all, same size as the stock tires.
