DENSO or NGK

Just changed to the 4lb lower pulley and was curious as to which plug would be better for a daily driver with the odd trip to the track?

DENSO IT 22 or NGK TR-6

Thanks,

I'm going to put in TR6's. From what I've read the Denso's don't have that much of an advantage for the cost. I could always be wrong though.

Everyone has their thoughts. Personally, id rather spend the 90$ on Denso's just to think that they are safer, wether they are or aren't. I'd rather spend the 45$ extra there, then plenty more money later.

Well you would want the denso IT20's not the IT22's. the IT22's are to cold for just a 4lb lower.

NGK makes iridium plugs now and they are just as good as the denso's and there only 50 bucks vs. the 90 for denso's.

Do a search for Denso's. Somebody posted a graph of MISFIRES of varies spark plugs. After viewing the graph, you'll understand why some of us decided that the Denso's where worth the extra money

Don't skimp on your plugs.....

Don't go with the NGK's becuase they are cheaper...I did and it cost me more money in the long run.

The NGKs are better than the stock plugs, but I still had some random misfires. I ended up going with the Densos anyhow...Richard (ICULOKN) steered me in the right direction...thanks Richard

Once I made the switch, there was a world of difference!!! No more misfiring, smoother running...much better. They still run perfectly after 5K miles and countless 1/4 mile runs.

IT-20's in mine with a 4 pound pulley, no problems.
